First edition. Pamphlet. Front wrapper is detached, quite chipped about the edges, and has three small holes, two of which affect a couple of letters of text. Rear wrapper is lacking. Signatures are loose. Text block needs to be resewn. Leaf comprising pp. 9-10 is soiled and has some loss at the lower corner A fair copy.

Housed in a mylar sleeve with acid free cardboard backing. This is a previoulsy unrecorded Mississippi imprint. Not in WORLDCAT OWENS: A BIBLIOGRAPHY OF MISSISSIPPI records only a pamphlet printed for the Third Annual Fair in 1886.

Title page states: "The object of the Noxubee County Agricultural Society shall be to improve methods of farming; to versify our industries; to encourage stock raising and improve the breeds of stock, and to hold Annual Fairs, where premiums shall be awarded for excellence."

This promotional item is full of period advertisements and has an index to advertisers at the front. The work prints names of members of the committees, the rules and regulations, and a list of premiums paid.
