This work was Issued without dust jacket. Original decorative cloth with Coast Guard Cutter in gilt on front board, title in gilt on spine. Book is slightly cocked, as per usual, and has a few small rubbed spots. A very good copy with map on lining papers. A history of the Coast Guard in its battle with the rum runners during the Prohibition period.

Appends a list of names of rum runners captured along the southeastern seaboard. Illustrated with 32 full page plates reproducing period photographs.
