First edition. Original decorative cloth, slightly shaken. Front hinge is starting. Two period ownership signatures on blank end papers, a few unobtrusive stains to cloth.

A good copy. Housed in acid free mylar cover. This book gives warm recollections of plantation life with descriptions and illustrations of the social aspects of slavery.
