Treaty of peace concluded at Ruby Valley, Territory of Nevada, by James W. Nye and James Duane Doty, opening the routes of travel, permitting the establishment of military posts, telegraph and overland stage lines, and allowing the prospecting of Indian lands by whites for gold and silver. Proclaimed by President U. S. Grant. Quite scarce.
