Large 8vo. First edition. Original printed wrappers, chipped about edges, now bound up in cloth. A very good copy. A memorial written by the Mayor of Baltimore. Donadlson, who is described as a scholarly lawyer and country gentleman, served in the Maryland House of Delegates. He was, like the author, "an avowed Union man."

First edition. Original cloth, minor chipping at head of spine, brief cover speckling. A very good or better copy. The frontispiece is a cabinet photograph of Elijah Stansbury. This photograph is signed by Stansbury on the front and has a presentation inscription by him dated 1874 on the verso. A scarce narrative of service in the War of 1812. Stansbury served in the Baltimore Union Artillery. He was at the Battle of North Point, and witnessed the bombardments of Fort McHenry and Fort Covington. He met Lafayette and his son George Washington Lafayette when they visited Baltimore and Fort McHenry in 1824. Col. Stansbury was mayor of Baltimore from 1848-1850. He lived to be 93.
